Julie is the proud owner and heart of JJ's Groom Room - Head of the pack! Since starting her grooming career in 2019, she’s built a warm and welcoming space dedicated to the comfort and care of every dog that walks through the door - Truly her happy place. Julie has a special love for Labradors and all types of Doodles, but her true gift lies in working with anxious or nervous pups, helping them feel calm, safe, and cared for.
Julie is always looking to grow and learn. She regularly attends grooming seminars and events, with her team, to stay up to date with the latest techniques and trends. From baths to full grooms and everything in between you can count on Julie always delivering top notch service - with plenty of boops in-between! She is also Pet First Aid certified so you can rest easy knowing your furry friend is in safe, loving hands.
When she’s not in the salon making tails wag, Julie enjoys life at home with her two beloved dogs, Duke and Bubba, working on her garden or exploring the outdoors kayaking with her husband, Godfrey.
At JJ’s Groom Room, your dog is treated like family - because to Julie, they are.
Bekah's grooming career began in 2016 as a bather at PetSmart, and by 2019, she was diving paws-first into professional grooming and hasn’t looked back since! But, her passion for pet grooming was sparked long before that. Growing up, she spent countless hours watching her beloved Nana groom, gaining hands-on knowledge and a deep appreciation for the craft. After dabbling in other careers, Bekah realized her heart was always in the grooming salon. Thanks to Nana’s inspiration, Bekah is exactly where she's supposed to be.
She loves working with giant breeds, has a soft spot for poodles, and absolutely adores bully breeds. She knows that trust is everything, which is why Bekah makes sure every dog feels safe, secure, and loved from start to finish.
Whether she’s mastering new techniques at seminars or connecting with fellow pros at industry events, she’s committed to keeping her skills sharp and current. From breed standard cuts to full grooming services, Bekah’s got your pup covered.
When she’s not making pups look their best, you’ll find her hanging out with family, planning her next adventure, or cruising on the motorcycle with her boyfriend.
After 15+ years in the hairstyling world, Stephanie brought her passion for great service (and great hair!) to the dog grooming industry in 2022. Now an essential part of the team at JJ’s Groom Room, she ensures both pups and their people enjoy a smooth, welcoming experience from check-in to pick-up. Most days, you’ll find her behind the scenes, juggling phones, schedules, and keeping everything running seamlessly!
As our “baby groomer,” Stephanie is in the early stages of her grooming journey and currently offers bath and brush services, nail trims, and pawdicures - with plenty of tail wags included. Along with Julie, she is also Pet First Aid Certified.
She especially enjoys working with big-hearted breeds like retrievers, mastiffs, and shepherds. From grooming tools to business strategies, Stephanie is always learning - attending business seminars and grooming courses to continue growing her skills and keep the salon running at its best.
When she’s not at the salon, Stephanie’s likely out camping or adventuring with her boyfriend and her golden retriever, Harlow, getting lost in a good book, or tending to her ever-growing jungle of houseplants.
